Job Summary
This role is focused on executing strategic marketing initiatives that enhance visibility, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the growth of the Insurance department. The Marketing Officer will be responsible for coordinating targeted campaigns, driving cross-selling efforts, managing marketing content, and representing the business at key events. All activities must be carried out in alignment with regulatory standards, within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Implementing marketing strategies for individual JR’s and BEE brokers on Insurance portfolio
- Implement, and manage integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event platforms
- Lead multiple campaigns to promote insurance products, services and systems
- Drive brand awareness and positioning of the Insurance department in line with corporate identity and strategic goals
- Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance using analytics tools to track ROI and adjust strategy
- Ensure all marketing materials and activities comply with relevant insurance, financial services, and regulatory standards
- Liaise with compliance officers and legal advisors to review and approve marketing content
- Initiate and support cross-selling opportunities across the Insurance portfolio
- Assist broker teams with tailored marketing material, presentations, and client-facing communications
- Identify and leverage opportunities to grow market share
- Coordinate marketing initiatives between internal teams (brokers, compliance, corporate marketing)
- Represent the TWK Insurance department at industry events, exhibitions, sponsorships, and community initiatives
- Manage the TWK Insurance department’s presence at sponsored events to maximise exposure and customer engagement
- Drive and support BEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) marketing initiatives
- Contribute to CSI (Corporate Social Investment) and community outreach programs aligned with the Insurance department’s values
- Support customer education through newsletters, guides and webinars
- Project management of all change management processes and advertising campaigns
- Manage and oversee the branding/logos of standard documents
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector
- Solid understanding of online media platforms and digital marketing campaigns
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure campaign effectiveness
- Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities
