TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: General Worker within the Timber division at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.

Job Summary
This role involves performing general maintenance tasks across the nursery property, including garden upkeep, grass cutting, repairing infrastructure, handling equipment, and assisting with loading and offloading. The position requires hands-on, practical work and the ability to operate machinery such as a tractor.

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Cutting grass and maintaining all lawn and garden areas
• Cleaning and tidying gardens, pathways, and work areas
• Spraying herbicides, pesticides, or other chemicals safely and correctly
• Repairing and maintaining pipes, irrigation systems, tables, nets, and general infrastructure
• Operating and driving a tractor and other basic maintenance equipment
• Loading and offloading trucks and assisting with material handling
• Performing general maintenance and upkeep tasks as directed
• Ensuring tools and equipment are cleaned, stored, and used responsibly
  

Qualifications and Skills 

• Matric / Grade12
• Basic knowledge of irrigation systems, repairs, and garden equipment
• Ability to handle and apply chemicals safely
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Strong problem-solving and practical repair skills
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid Driver’s License (Code 10)
