TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Business Analyst Team Lead within the IT division at Pretoria, Gauteng.

Description

The Business Analyst Team Lead will play a key role in improving business systems and processes, ensuring alignment with business strategy and operational needs. This role requires technical and leadership capabilities, with a focus on fostering collaborations between IT and stakeholders to meet objectives.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead and mentor a team of IT Business Analyst professionals
  • Stakeholder Management (Internal & External stakeholders)
  • Analyse, define and manages business requirements
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Map existing business processes
  • Develop and utilise standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications
  • Translate user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team
  • Conduct peer reviews of business requirements to ensure that requirements specifications are correctly interpreted
  • Manage and track the status requirements throughout the requirements lifecycle
  • Facilitate discussions to manage evolving requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives
  • Support change management efforts and provide training to end-users as needed

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, informatics or business administration
  • BABOK certification (advantageous)
  • 6 years’ experience as a Business Analyst
  • Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirement analysis, business process modelling
  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile/Waterfall methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Attention to detail, providing accurate and well-structured business designs
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute task while under pressure
  • Proven ability working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment to manage deliverables
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills
